David Curtis is the artistic director of the The Orchestra of the Swan ( OOTS ) which is based in Stratford upon Avon . I recently shot some ‘traditional’ portraits of David Curtis in Tails & White tie, but David kindly allowed me to try a more contemporary approach that was shot after we the usual images required for press and communication .

Both David and I agree that this image shows a more ‘steely’ yet ever friendly Mr Curtis .

It is a portrait I am very proud of as it is how I saw David, not just a great artist but as a warm but strong person .

I am very pleased that David has used the image for recent press ,so what his fans think about this image ?
