A recent shoot for the talented Sculptor- Sue Jones who works in Oxfordshire. Her beautiful Bronze Equine sculptures have a mystical quality and are reminiscent of pre classical ancient artifacts.
An old Cotswold stable seemed to be an appropriate location to photograph this work of art , as if it was an archaeological find .
Ok, it would ideally have been shot in a Ancient ruins in the Middle East, but budgets are not that generous anymore and getting a great pint after the shoot at the Falklands Arms ,in nearby Great Tew would be hard ,so a slight compromise was necessary.
I think the resulting image works, but maybe next time ,its off to a Desert Location.

If you want a great pint - Check out the Falkland Arms - I was lucky to have discovered this gem of a pub as I was commissioned to shoot it for a travel supplement for the Guardian ,back in 2007.
